Bill Dunnell Condition Updates
Friday, February 25 update: Marion, James & Rich visited Bill again yesterday afternoon. He is still hospitalized and is slowly improving. The Doctor is still watching swelling in his feet and has not stated when he may be able to go home. Rich and Donnie plan to visit again Saturday.
Saturday, February 26 update: Bill was released from the hospital Friday afternoon and returned home. However, later in the evening he experienced problems and was taken by ambulance to Winfield Hospital.
Friday, March 4 update: Bill was transported from the Winfield hospital to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita again earlier this week. Marion, James & Rich visited him there yesterday. His condition is still not good, and it has not been determined what will be done next.
Monday, March 7 update: Today, Rich and Paula visited Billy and Anna Dunnell in Via Cristi, formerly St. Francis, Hospital in Wichita. Three days ago Anna was admitted and they currently share a room. Billy is still battling open wounds on his foot, but did seem more coherent when awake. Anna has a raging rash which covers her arms and legs and is quite painful. With that said, the overall prognosis for both is still questionable.
Sunday, April 17 update: We just learned today that Bill and Anna are now in a care home in Oxford and are doing somewhat better. Any further news will be presented in a new entry.
