Jack Carr Update

Jack Carr had a kidney with a tumor removed the first week in October and he starts chemotherapy this week. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Charlene Davis Mother Dies

Eula Payton, Charlene Davis' mother, has died at the age of 96. Funeral services are 1 PM Friday, September 6, at Douglass United Methodist Church, 204 S. Willow. Her obituary from Smith Family Mortuaries is also shown here (pdf file).

Mildred Pickett Dies

Letha Pickett Gammon's mother, Mildred Pickett, has died at the age of 99. Letha predeceased her in 1988. Mildred's obituary as printed in the Wichita Eagle is shown here (pdf file).
