Richard Pearson
My wife, Paula, and I have lived on an acreage near Rose Hill for the past 23 years. I took early retirement from NCR Corporation after 34 years of service in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana.Currently I have an ATM consulting business and do projects for various lending institutions in the area. I also serve on the Butler Rural Electric Board of Directors and attend First Christian Church in Derby.
We have three grown children and four grand daughters. I still water ski and snow ski with my children and grand children. Our four little grand daughters are my pride and joy; any time spent with them is my favorite thing to do. I and Paula also enjoy traveling. And I enjoy following NASCAR and dirt track racing.
August 2008 Update: We recently took a trip to the west coast and stopped off in Las Vegas to see classmate Marilyn (Barr) Van Deventer. She was working retail at the Venetian Hotel & Casino and was able to join us for dinner. We had not seen each other since graduation in 1955, so needless to say, there had many stories to share. She is doing well and we have stayed in touch by email ever since.
This past Saturday I joined classmates Don Davis and Marion Futhey for breakfast in celebration of Marion's birthday.
