Obituary for Ann Young (Daniels)
Ann (Daniels) Young passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at age 83. She was born August 14, 1937 in Winfield, Kansas to Thomas Corwin and Jessie Beryl (Morgan) Daniels. Memorial Service will be graveside at Friends Cemetery, Rose Hill, KS, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 am. Service will be officiated by Karl Magnusson. Rev. Ray Young will read the Lord's Prayer.
Visitation with family will be Friday, June 4 from 4-6:00pm at Smith Mortuary in Derby.
She graduated from Douglass High School in 1956, and married Larry Young on June 28, 1958 in Rock, KS. They were married for over 63 years. They lived in Winfield for a short time after they married, then moved to the family farm between Douglass and Rose Hill later that year. They lived there until 1974 when they moved into Rose Hill, then they moved to Wichita in 1997.
She is survived by her husband Larry, daughters Lee (Kevin) Oursler, and Lori (Doug) Richardson, grandsons Jared Oursler, Aaron Richardson, and Alex Richardson. She is also survived by her brother Jesse (Joyce) Daniels, and sister-in-law Donna Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother J.D. (Dick) Daniels, sisters TomElla Polk and Gay Meyer.
Memorial has been established with the Rose Hill Historical Society.
