Dean Carlson

Ellis Dean Carlson died August 13, 2007, in Buffalo, Missouri. Services were conducted on August 17 by Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home at the Lebanon Kingdom Hall, Lebanon, MO.

Survivors: Wife, Sandy; children, Chris Carlson, and Jeff Olsman both of Howard, KS, Karen Piercy of Lebanon, MO, and Candice Hitzeman of Wichita; sisters, Dee Warren, Melva Bishop, and Charlotte Nielson.

Dean worked for Boeing Aircraft Company from 1955 to 1960; did construction 1960-1963; worked at Learjet from 1963 to 1987; OMAC Aircraft Company 1987-1991; and at Learjet in Experimental Flight Test from 1991 until he retired.

He built several homes in Wichita and another in Missouri. The summer of 2000 was spent on a marketing tour in Europe and Africa.
