2005 - 50 Years!

The 50 year reunion is now history and it was a wonderful get-together! More images are on the 2005 Pictures page (also in the navigation menu on the left side).

* We started with a gab and eat session on Friday night, May 27, at the Rose Hill Senior Center (total of 27 people).

* Then on Saturday we hosted the alumni banquet at the Rose Hill High School. The turn out was great (30 class members and spouses) with well over 100 graduates and guests attending and the food was above average.

* Sunday we met at the Marriott Hotel in Wichita for a farewell brunch; 24 attending. The food and fellowship were both exceptional.

* Two of our classmates that went to other schools prior to the senior year were Dan Helmer, who came Friday night, and Earl Frye, who came to the Sunday brunch.

Class of 1955 statistics provided by Jim Walton: 12 of us live in a 50 mile radius of Rose Hill, 8 of us started 1st grade together, and altogether we had 14 children graduate from Rose Hill.
